How To Install Siri On Your iPad 2

Recently, The untethered jailbreak for the A5 Devices [iPhone 4S and iPad 22 has been released. And with it’s release it’s now possible to port Siri to the iPad 2. And here’s how to do it? Check it out.
Note:

You need a jailbroken iPad 2 on iOS 5.0.1 to port Siri to your iPad 2
If you decide to go through with this guide it will be on your own risk. This might get your iPad to kick into iPhone mode meaning that every thing will be sized for iPhone. Respring your device should fix it.

How To Port Siri To iPad 2?

Step 1: Jailbreak your iPad 2 with Absinthe[Windows]

Step 2: Install Spire on the iPad 2.

Step 3: Download and install iFile from Cydia.Open iFile and navigate to /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app/.Once there tap and open the K.plist file (K93AP.plist, K94AP.plist, etc) with the Property List Viewer.
      
Tap capabilities, and scroll down until you see iPad. Switch iPad from On to Off and tap Done. Restart your iPad.
      
Once back up, open Cydia, and install Spire, it will ask you to reboot again.
      
Once back up, go back into /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app/ using iFile. Once there tap and open the K.plist file (K93AP.plist, K94AP.plist, etc) with the Property List Viewer.
      
Tap capabilities, and scroll down until you see iPad. Switch iPad from Off to On and tap Done and exit iFile.

  
Step 4: Download and install Dropbox; log in, and download the ca.pem file that was placed there in the initial Siri Proxy Tutorial. (Select it, copy link, paste link in Safari Browser). The Install Profile window should open, select Install, and tap Done.

Step 5: Open iFile and navigate to /etc/. Tap hosts and choose Text Viewer. Tap Edit in the upper-left hand corner, and add the following line:

    127.0.0.1 guzzoni.apple.com

Tap Save then tap Done.

Step 6: Open the Settings app and go to General > Siri. Enable Siri.

Step 7: Open the Settings app and under Extensions select Spire. Type the following in the Proxy Host field:

    https://guzzoni.apple.com

Step 8: Open iFile and navigate to /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/. Once there tap and open com.apple.assistant.plist

Tap on Accounts > Choose your hex key (this will be a random alphanumeric value) > and add the following three fields utilizing the “+” sign in the bottom right-hand corner, then tap Done:

       Ace Host
        Assistant Identifier
        Speech Identifier


Step 9: Open Settings > Wi-Fi > and Select the right blue arrow corresponding to your Wi-Fi connection. Change the DNS field to the IP address of your Siri Proxy Server.

Step 10: Exit Settings, and test Siri by pressing and holding the Home button. You should also see feedback in the terminal window of your Ubuntu server, just like you did when running Siri Proxy on the iPhone 4S, or iPhone 4.

Step 11: Install some cool plugins like Hands-Free Control or SiriToggles and really have fun. They both work well on iPad 2.
